Put up Workplace employees at greater than 100 branches have walked out throughout a one-day strike in a dispute over pay.
The 114 Crown Put up Workplaces will shut for a 24-hour interval, with no money deliveries or collections from the 11,500 sub-post places of work across the UK.
Members of the Communication Employees Union (CWU) are hanging over a pay freeze for 2021 and the supply of a 2 per cent improve from April this 12 months, alongside a £250 one-off lump sum.
Union officers mentioned the supply was “exceptionally poor”, particularly as RPI inflation has reached 9 per cent.
